1 Teacher-in Charge, Department of Education, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi.
  1. Organized: International Conference at Thailand on, 'India- Thailand: Contemporary Issues in Primary Education', in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Thailand and Department of Education, Lady Irwin College. It was attended by 20 of the B.Ed. students and five faculty members. Presented paper on, 'Primary Education in India: A Comparison'.
  2. Organized a five day National Workshop for Head teachers of all the Delhi Public Schools of India in collaboration with Delhi Public School Society.
  3. Revitalized the Department of Education Alumni networking
  4. Development of the Departmental Physical Infrastructure
    -Physical overhauling of the department
    -Creating an Information technology friendly environment
  5. Organization of the celebrations of the Department's Golden Jubilee celebrations (50th year). National Conference was organized on, "Teacher Education: Vision of the Road Ahead" Release of Book by the Department of Education titled, "Words in Gold"
  6. Started a certificate course in , 'Educational Guidance and Counseling'.
2 Educational & Guidance Cell for School Children, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi Started a project with the support of DSA at Deptt of Education. Lady Irwin College. The project was initiated in 1996 and continues to date. It aims to provide services to:
School Teachers, Children, the parents of the school children and the School Administrators.
3 I.C.D.S (Integrated Child Development Scheme)
Organised in-service as well as orientation workshops for
  1. Aganwadi workers
  2. Supervisors
  3. Child Development Programme Officers ( C.D.P.O)
4 Roshini (Centre for Drug-Abuse Prevention)- Project sponsored by the MHRD
Worked as a counselor and Social worker
  1. Creating awareness among school children
  2. Creating awareness in the lower and middle socio-economic status group (S.E.S)
  3. Counseling and rehabilitation
5 Literacy Project(Area Development Approach) 10 centers were working at the Pillangi Village using the Area Development Approach. Besides literacy programmes for women and young girls this project also involved creating awareness about child development, population education and legal literacy. This was a university based project sponsored by the Department of Adult and Continuing Education.
6 Parivar Seva Sanstha (Marie Stopes) Was involved with creating awareness about, 'Crisis Management'. This was part of frequent workshops conducted for young people.
7 Child Development Organized training programmes/ seminar/ workshop/ corner meetings with relation to child development for grass root workers of I.C.D.S and U.B.S.P as well for the general public of the locality concerned (from 1986-1990)
8 Remedial Teaching Programme (for children of Class IV employees), Deptt. Of Education, Lady Irwin College. As a part of the B.Ed. programme, coordinated the remedial teaching of the children of the employees of the college. This involved the assessment, development of teaching strategies for each child and its implementation (from 1995 - 1997)

10 Family Therapy
Organizing Committee ( Jt. Secretary) of the Ist International Conference on Family Therapy titled, "Family Therapy and Children" held in the year 2006-2007
Organizing Committee ( Jt. Secretary) of the 3rd International Conference on Family Therapy titled, "Gender in the Indian Family" August 2007
Organizing Committee ( Jt. Secretary) of the 4th International Conference on Family Therapy titled, "Child Abuse and the Indian Family" 13th Sep. 2009
Organization and conduction of workshops for orientation to the concept and usage of family therapy over individual therapy for students of Human Development, Psychology, Social work and practitioners.
11 Bibliotherapy
(Book Therapy) Organization and conduction of workshops for prospective authors of children's stories, school teachers and librarians to orient them to concept and usage of book therapy for healing.
Facilitating book therapy centers in colonies and the communities as well as for children in difficult circumstances.
12 Specific Learning Disabilities
( Dyslexia)
Guest Faculty for Diploma courses on Specific Learning Disabilities for school teachers, doctors, parents and others.
